The highlight of this week was the long-awaited launch of the Token Swap! During a pre-New Year's AMA session, our CEO announced this crucial step. Finally, the time has come to put it into action!
From March 12th to April 2nd, any PXP holders can swap their tokens to receive new ones. Simply transfer them to the website and use the form on the dedicated page.
For detailed information on the Swap process, refer to our special article dedicated to PXP Token Swap. In it, we elaborate on the purpose of the Token Swap, the changes it will bring to PXP and PointPay, as well as our future plans. All your questions are answered in the article!
Tokens placed in staking were also returned to conduct the Swap. They have been transferred to the Capital account so you can immediately Swap them. After receiving new tokens, you can stake them again, now with even greater benefits! This is due to our temporary offer where we increased rewards for PXP staking to up to 8% APR! More details can be found in a separate article. Note that this offer is available for a limited time only!
While conducting the Token Swap, we didn't forget about more familiar activities such as listings! This week, the PointPay assortment was enriched with two new cryptocurrencies: Sleepless AI (AI) and AltLayer (ALT)! They are now available for trading, buying/selling, storing, and transfers. The crypto sphere continued its active growth this week. Bitcoin remains the dominant trendsetter, reaching a new ATH of $73,750! That's a remarkable 10% increase over the past week and a staggering 55% rise over the last month!
In light of Bitcoin's rise, other altcoins are also surging. Ethereum came close to the $4,000 mark. Additionally, other cryptocurrencies have shown growth ranging from 10% to 50-60% this week!
