PointPay Weekly Update (30 September - 4 October)

Another week has quietly passed, and it's time to reflect on everything we've accomplished. Catch up on all the latest news, changes, and events from PointPay!
PointPay News
This week, we successfully obtained security audits and uploaded them to CoinGecko, restoring our previous ranking to around the 30th position. While the CoinMarketCap listing is still in progress, we’re diligently working on it!
If you missed the earlier news, back in early September, new security audits were introduced as a requirement by aggregator platforms like CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap. Until these documents were provided, the ratings of our exchange, along with many others, were significantly lowered. But now, that's largely behind us!
The next big update this week is a new listing. Welcome the Hamster Kombat (HMSTR) token to the platform! It's incredibly popular with many users and is now available for trading on our exchange. Give it a try yourself!
In addition to the major news, we’ve continued to enhance our website and apps. Here and there, you might notice subtle improvements—design tweaks, the addition of small but convenient features, and much more.
Lastly, we’re gearing up for Halloween and the exciting activities that come with it! Starting in mid-October, you can look forward to two familiar events with significant rewards. We’ll reveal all the details next week—stay tuned for updates.
Cryptosphere News
This week has been tough for the cryptocurrency market. Most cryptocurrencies have lost around 10% in value and aren’t showing signs of recovery just yet. For instance, Bitcoin has dropped from $65,000 to $60,500, while Ethereum has fallen from $2,480 to $2,340.
However, October is historically a favorable month for cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin, in particular, has shown growth during this time in most cases. Despite the slow start, Bitcoin still has a chance to uphold tradition and end the month in the green.
