Bitcoin decided it was time to surprise the market and has remained firmly above $80,000 since last Saturday. At one point, the price tested the $87,000 level, although it failed to hold there.
Bitcoin was followed by the broader market, including ETH and altcoins. Notably, altcoins posted stronger gains than BTC, which could be a sign of the long-awaited altseason.
