PointPay Weekly Update (02 - 06 March)
Dear PointPay Family,
Another week has passed, which means it is time for our next summary. Over the past few days, many exciting things have happened, and we have gathered everything in one place so you can stay up to date with all the latest developments.
PointPay News
We should begin this recap with the biggest news - the announcements. On Thursday, we held our traditional AMA session, where PointPay CEO Vladimir Kardapoltsev shared several announcements and our plans for the coming month, as well as answered questions from the community.
The key announcements were:
Futures Market - currently in the final stages of development and scheduled for release by the end of March. You will be able to trade futures with leverage of up to x100, along with the full set of familiar trading features. This means that PointPay will soon offer two markets - Spot and Futures.
Predictions Market - currently in development and planned to follow the Futures release. Our goal is to launch it within the next couple of months. You will be able to access the full functionality of the predictions market without leaving the PointPay platform. At the same time, we will integrate external platforms, giving you access to their markets and trading opportunities as well.
In addition to these topics, the AMA also included other announcements and answers to the questions you submitted. We recommend watching the full AMA on our YouTube channel so you do not miss anything important.
This week also marked the end of our month-long promotion with zero trading fees. All fees have now returned to their standard values according to your user levels. As a reminder, you can always reduce your fees by increasing your User Level and by paying fees with PXP tokens.
