As 2025 comes to a close, we want to take a measured look at what this year represented for PointPay - not in terms of announcements, but in terms of delivered infrastructure.
Throughout 2025, our focus remained consistent: strengthening the core of the platform and expanding functionality that operates reliably in real market conditions. Over the year, PointPay significantly expanded asset coverage to 1,200+ cryptocurrencies, improved liquidity across key markets, and introduced a tiered user level system designed to reward sustained activity with reduced fees and priority access.
From a product perspective, several foundational components were delivered. The P2P service was launched with escrow protection and multiple payment methods. Account security was enhanced through Passkey authentication and advanced MFA, improving both safety and user experience. We continued development of the NFT Marketplace and token creation tools, while upgrading internal accounting systems to support real-time balance tracking and automated reconciliation.
In parallel, 2025 marked a transition toward more advanced market infrastructure. Work began on derivatives and futures trading systems, supported by improvements in risk management, performance, and backend stability. A redesigned web and mobile experience was initiated, alongside the rollout of new referral and affiliate programs built for long-term participation rather than short-term incentives.
Looking ahead, 2026 is not an abstract vision - it is already structured. Our roadmap outlines the next phase of PointPay’s development.
